Dr. Jotinder Johal
Dr. Jotinder K. Johal has practiced dentistry in the Charlotte area for more than 25 years. Originally from East Africa, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 and has built her career around clinical excellence and compassionate patient care.
Dr. Johal provides a full range of dental services and has a special interest in prosthodontics and oral surgery. She’s an active member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Gaston Dental Society. Dedicated to giving back, she regularly volunteers with Give Kids a Smile, the North Carolina Baptist Dental Bus, and the NCMOM program.
Outside of work, Dr. Johal enjoys travel, interior design, and staying active through hiking and yoga. She’s also a proud mom of two sons, one currently in dental school.

"My sister had a filling come out of her tooth and we called Waxsaw Dental and they got her in the next morning. Since the Doctor she had gone to for years had retired, she was scheduled with Dr Marshall Earnest and his assistant Jenna. They were both very kind and professional. They explained all of the options clearly and were able to fix the tooth the same day. Since I wasn't the one being worked on, I was able to watch the procedure. They worked together seamlessly with such skill and calmness. It was very impressive and I would certainly recommend them."

"I was bumped due to a Hygienist calling in sick. I waited 4 weeks for call back to reschedule.. Never heard back, so I had to call and make my own short notice cleaning appointment. I received new a hygienist and new DDS. The cleaning was a little rough but it was thorough. Customer service for client retention needs work."
