How do I book my first appointment?
To book your first dental appointment at Waxhaw Dental Center, you can:
Call the office directly at (704) 243-1122 to speak with a team member or use the convenient online booking system on our website. New-patient paperwork is available to download so you can complete it before your visit.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We work with all PPO insurance plans! Our staff will verify your insurance prior to your appointment.
Do you accept patients without insurance?
Yes! For patients without insurance, we offer a Membership Plan as low as $30 per month, and our Dental Savings Plan ($349 per year for a single member) includes 1 comprehensive exam, 2 cleanings, and 4 bitewing X-rays, plus 10-15% discounts on additional services.
Do you offer payment plans or financing?
We've partnered with CareCredit and Sunbit to make financing easy! CareCredit offers zero-interest financing or low minimum monthly payment options, and Sunbit lets you split your bill into monthly payments up to 72 months with no hard credit checks and no late fees or penalties.
Do you see children / are you a family practice?
Yes, Waxhaw Dental Center welcomes pediatric patients and provides comprehensive family dental care — from children to adults, we care for every family member.
Do you treat patients with dental anxiety, and what sedation options are there?
While we don't offer sedation at Waxhaw Dental Center, our team works hard to make procedures as comfortable and carefree as possible. We're always happy to discuss your treatment options well in advance so you know exactly what to expect.
What should I expect at my first visit?
During your first dental appointment at Waxhaw Dental Center, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time with your completed new-patient paperwork (available to download on our website); our team will also verify your dental insurance prior to your visit.
What safety and sterilization protocols do you follow?
We follow HIPAA privacy practices to keep your patient records private and secure.
What dental services do you offer?
We offer dental exams and X-rays, teeth cleaning, fillings, cosmetic bonding, crowns, bridges, dental sealants, dental implants, dentures, emergency services, gum recontouring, oral cancer screenings, orthodontics including Invisalign, periodontics, porcelain veneers, root canals, TMJ-TMD care, teeth whitening, and tooth and wisdom tooth extractions.
Are your dentists specialists, and in what?
Our dentists, Dr. Amit Ganglani and Dr. Jotinder Johal, are general dentists; Dr. Ganglani focuses on cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, and custom dentures, and Dr. Johal has a special interest in prosthodontics and oral surgery.
How long has the practice served the area?
