Dr. Adir is a general dentist who was born in Jerusalem, Israel and moved to the U.S. with his family at the age of eight. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, where he finished high school, graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1982, and went on to graduate from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore.
Dr. Adir started his career in private practice just outside Washington, DC, before moving to South Florida, where he practiced for 22 years. During that time, he took the opportunity to expand his dental skills through numerous continuing education courses including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign™ certification, and extensive restorative, implant, and endodontic (root canal) training. In 2009, Dr. Adir moved to Charlotte. He continues to attend continuing education courses in order to be able to provide his patients with the latest, most up-to-date dental care. He is a member of the National Academy of General Dentistry and the North Carolina Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Adir has a patient-centric philosophy. He feels it is of the utmost importance that each and every patient is fully involved in every aspect of their dental care, so he answers all questions and takes the time to explain all treatment options. Dr. Adir treats his patients the same way he would like to be treated, providing the best quality and customer service the dental field has to offer.
